We Pride Ourselves On Small Groups And Personal Service
SIX DIVER MAXIMUM!
At Nep2une Scuba Diving, we love diving the beautiful West End of St. Croix. Our guided boat and shore dives never include more than 6 divers and are always led by experienced divemasters who love to dive just as much as you do! All of our guides have years of experience diving right here in St. Croix, particularly on the West End. Certified divers will be required to provide proof of certification upon check-in. Please be aware that our beautiful island’s internet can be unreliable and online verification may not be possible at the time of check-in. We highly recommend contacting us ahead of time if you do not have a physical card to show upon arrival. All guided dives include tanks & weights. Rental gear including a BCD, regulator, mask, fins, and wetsuit are available for $10 per dive trip and dive computers are provided for boat dives at no extra charge.
Let us know if you have any questions about diving with us. Answers are just a call or email away!
Morning Boat Dives are available to all Certified Open Water divers 15 years and older. Afternoon Boat Dives are also available, and take into account the depth restrictions for certified divers aged 10 – 14 years old, as well as uncertified student divers. If you prefer to dive in the morning to accompany a junior diver or student, you can book the morning boat as a Private Charter instead. All Boat Dives require at least one logged dive in the past 2 years. A Guided Shore Dive at the Frederiksted Pier is the perfect way to meet this requirement before your boat dive. Have any questions? Please call or email us to discuss options.
Dive sites are chosen on the day of your trip, depending on the prevailing conditions and taking into account any requests. We have over 30 sites to choose from along the western shore of St Croix, including popular shipwrecks, deep and shallow reefs, as well as spectacular underwater structures. All of our dive sites are less than 15 minutes from the boat dock at the Frederiksted Pier. Our crew is great at choosing dive sites that will work for everyone! All boat dives include drinking water, as well as fruit and cookies as a light refreshment during the surface interval between dives. Do you need to add Nitrox or any guided Pier, Wall, or Night Dives to your reservation? No problem! These will each be available as an optional “Add On” before checkout when you book online. Do you prefer to have the boat all to yourself? You may want to book one of our Private Charters instead.
Our dive packages discount boat dives when you sign up for three or more 2-tank boats. In addition, you will receive a discount when you add on afternoon 1-tank boat dives or 1-tank night dives at the pier to your reservation. Booking a dive package also grants you complimentary 24-hour air tank and weight rentals on the day of each morning boat dive. Many divers love to use this option to shore dive the pier independently after returning from their morning dives with us. You can dive the pier multiple times and see different creatures on each dive! If you are renting a BCD and regulator from us, it is just an additional $15 for each day you choose to continue using the rental gear after your boat dives. However, normal rental costs will apply to any non-dive package days.
While choosing your package days online, you will be able to “Add On” Nitrox or Guided Shore Dives before checkout. Don’t see the Dive Package you’re looking for? Maybe you need more than seven days, or a mix of morning and afternoon boats, or you might want to add Dive Training to your Package? Please call or email us to book a Custom Package.
Has it been a few years since your last dive trip? No problem! Just schedule a Refresher Dive or Guided Shore Dive the day before your Dive Package starts.
Do you prefer a more personal experience with just your friends and family? Our Private Charters have become an increasingly popular option. We offer both 1-tank and 2-tank private charters for up to a maximum of 6 guests in the morning or afternoon. You can also charter a 1-tank night dive to witness the nocturnal critters found at the very end of the pier, the Butler Bay wrecks, or one of our many West End reefs.
Private Charters are a great option for groups of divers and snorkelers who want to enjoy a day on the water all together. Does anyone in your group need scuba or snorkel gear? No problem. All charter guests are welcome to use complimentary rental gear at no additional cost. Do any participants want to Try Scuba or complete other Dive Training? Please call or email us to discuss options.
You can also book a private charter for other activities. Click this link for more details about our full range of Private Charters.
The colorful coral and sponge covered pillars of the Frederiksted Pier are one of the most popular attractions in St Croix! While diving under the 1,526 foot long pier, you will uncover hidden treasures such as Anemones, Angelfish, Batfish, Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Octopus, and so much more! This dive is considered a photographer’s paradise and is informally separated into three sections, each worth its own dive. You can explore the Shallow Pier from shore, the End of the Pier with a long kick from shore (but is more enjoyable from our boat), and Tres Amigos, which is the very end of the pier extension that terminates in 90′. While the Frederiksted Pier is amazing in the daytime, it is even more impressive as a Night Dive. We highly recommend experiencing both!
The Frederiksted Pier is an unforgettable dive site, but keep in mind that Homeland Security prohibits all swimming, snorkeling, or scuba diving at the pier while a cruise ship is in port. You can click this link to check the arrival schedule at the Frederiksted Pier.
The Cane Bay Wall is a popular deep dive site on the North Shore, created by the Puerto Rico Trench. Our boats only dive the West End, but we do offer guided shore dives at the Cane Bay Wall as an “Add On” for customers who book any West End dives first. Divers are not required to be Advanced Open Water certified, but will need to be prepared for a 600 foot surface kick out and able to maintain proper buoyancy at a 100 foot depth. Sharks, turtles, and many colorful reef fish are frequently seen during this deep wall dive. Please be aware that due to local regulations, we cannot provide rides for our customers. Divers will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Cane Bay for this dive.
If you haven’t been diving recently, or on a regular basis, we highly recommend that you complete a SSI Scuba Skills Update prior to any boat dives. This will allow you to refresh important dive safety concepts alongside one of our awesome instructors, such as dive planning essentials, buoyancy skills, and stress management. Afterwards, you’ll be a confident and knowledgeable diver ready to jump right back into the underwater world!
The first step is to make a reservation with us for your half day in-water training session. Next we’ll send you instructions to register for the online course which must be completed prior to arrival. Complimentary rental gear is provided if needed and a guided dive of the pier is included as part of your 1-tank refresher at the world famous pier. If you combine this refresher course with more guided dives, you will receive a discount on our night dives, boat dives, and packages.
