Do you prefer more personal experiences, away from large group excursions? You’ve come to the right place! At Nep2une Scuba Diving, we pride ourselves on small groups and personal service. All of our tours are limited to a maximum of 6 guests. If you love being in the water, you can sign up for a Try Scuba adventure to experience the beauty of our underwater world. Already Certified? You can book a 1 or 2-tank guided boat dive to explore our beautiful West End coral reefs. If you would rather go Snorkeling, we offer morning and afternoon snorkel boat tours, or you can just rent a snorkel set on your own and explore at your leisure from a nearby beach. For those interested in the ultimate escape, you can book a Private Charter to go scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, or sightseeing. Payment is due in full at time of booking. You may cancel up to 48 hours prior to your activity and be refunded 90% of the total booking. If your cruise ship does not dock in St. Croix we will refund 50% of your reservation. When the ships reschedule it is generally more than 48 hours ahead of time, unless it’s due to weather. In most but not all cases, if the weather is bad enough that the ship is not docking, it means we would be canceling anyway in which case you would receive a full refund.

The Frederiksted Pier is an unforgettable dive site, but keep in mind that Homeland Security prohibits all swimming, snorkeling, or scuba diving at the pier while a cruise ship is in port. You can click this link to check the arrival schedule at the Frederiksted Pier.

Try Diving With Our Basic Diver Program

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Avoid the crowds and enjoy a private scuba dive! If you love to snorkel and swim, then this activity is for you. There is nothing more exciting than your first few breaths underwater!

PREREQUISITES:
• Must be 10 years of age or older – also must be in good health and able to perform moderate physical activity
• Be comfortable in the water and know how to swim – snorkeling experience is recommended, but not required
• Diver Medical Questionnaire must be completed – some participants may require a physician’s release to scuba dive
• No flying for a minimum of 12 hours after Basic Diver – or 18 hours after Full Day Basic Diver

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT: During this half day adventure, you’ll learn the basics of scuba diving, perform a few skills in shallow water to ensure your comfort, and then your Instructor will guide you through a dive around the old  Frederiksted Pier. This dive site is famous for its beautiful aquatic life, including close encounters with corals, sponges, sea turtles, stingrays and many colorful Caribbean fish!

WHY CHOOSE NEP2UNE: To ensure your safety and maximize your enjoyment, we offer this activity as a private experience by limiting each class to just you and your friends and family, with no more than 2 participants to each instructor, and anyone under 15 years old gets their own private Instructor.

WHAT TO DO AFTER  BOOKING: Your underwater adventure begins as soon as you confirm your Basic Diver reservation. Your confirmation email will contain a link to the MySSI app (Scuba Schools International diving agency) where you need to create a free user profile. Once your profile is set up, you just need to let us know and we will assign your Basic Diver Digital Learning. You will also need to complete the waivers and Diver Medical questionnaire prior to your scheduled dive. This whole process only takes about 20 minutes to complete. Upon check in for the dive, your Scuba Instructor will review everything you learned in your Digital Learning course and answer any questions. Then it’s off to shallow water to practice a few basic scuba skills before enjoying a guided scuba dive with your instructor.

Please Note: For everyone’s safety, the successful completion of all scuba skills is required to participate in the scuba dive portion.

THE NEXT STEP:
Want more than just a taste of scuba diving? Make it a full day of underwater adventures! You can book a Full Day Basic Diver experience by adding on an afternoon boat dive. This is a great option for people who spend a lot of time snorkeling in the ocean and are very comfortable in the water! If any Certified Divers want to dive with you, they can sign up to join you on this second dive.

The Basic Diver program can be credited towards your Open Water Dive program within 6 months of completion. If you love your Basic Diver experience, be sure to let us know if you want to become a certified diver. We’re happy to help you get Open Water certified and join the exciting world of recreational scuba diving!

Do you have more than four people in your group, or any certified divers who would like to dive with you? No Problem! Just call or email us to make your reservation.

GUIDED BOAT DIVES

Morning Boat Dives are available to all Certified Open Water divers age 15 and older. Afternoon Boat Dives are also available, and take into account the depth restrictions for Junior Divers (age 10 – 14) and student divers. All divers are required to show proof of certification as well as one logged dive in the past 2 years. Private Charters are also available if you prefer to dive a morning boat with a Junior Diver or any certified diver who has not been diving in the past 2 years. All boat dives include drinking water and light refreshments during the surface interval between dives. All guided boat dives include tanks & weights. All rental gear needed for a boat dive is available for a flat fee of $10 and dive computers are provided at no extra charge.

SNORKELING FROM THE SHORE

Are you ready to explore St. Croix’s beautiful blue water? We offer Guided Snorkel Tours from shore to explore one of the best snorkel locations on St. Croix’s beautiful West End. A guide will be in the water with you to ensure your safety and to help you find delicate corals, schooling fish, and elusive sea turtles. We provide all snorkeling gear, but you are always welcome to bring your own gear instead. We limit our snorkel tours to a maximum of six participants, and offer group discounts. The larger your group, the greater your savings.

SNORKELING FROM THE BOAT

Interested in snorkeling from our boat? We offer Private Charters for you and up to five additional guests to snorkel two locations on St. Croix’s fabulous West End! In addition to complete snorkel gear sets,  complimentary drinks and light snacks are also provided, including local Leatherback beer after all in-water activities are concluded. If you are not interested in a Private Charter and don’t mind waiting, we also offer same day bookings for individual spots for guided boat snorkel tours when possible. These spots only become available 24 hours in advance, and require a 2 person minimum. However this can be a great option for cruise visitors who have not pre-booked an excursion and are looking for a fun activity after arrival.

SNORKELING ON YOUR OWN

Do you just want to relax at the beach and jump in the water to snorkel on your own? You can rent a Snorkel Set including a mask, snorkel, and fins, between 8:00AM – 5:00PM for $20 per person. This is a great option for experienced snorkelers who want to explore the water without a guide. If you need snorkel gear for the rest of your cruise, we also offer a quality retail selection in our shop at great prices. You can also choose from a wide selection of sunscreen, beachwear, towels, hats, sunglasses, and cold drinks!

PRIVATE CHARTERS

Do you prefer a more personal scuba diving experience, or would you rather go snorkeling, sightseeing, or deep sea fishing? Your group can book the entire boat all to yourselves with a Private Charter. We offer a full range of charters for up to a maximum of 6 guests. Need any gear? No problem. Private Charter guests are welcome to use complimentary scuba or snorkeling gear at no additional cost. Proof of certification is required for all scuba diving participants, however scuba instruction may be available upon request for an additional fee.
